What’s been happening:

A fine science education and a degree in microbiology from Penn State helped lead to a long, ongoing career in healthcare. A visit to State College, summer 2008, was my first visit in nearly 35 years. Yikes! The expansion dear old state has undergone was breath-taking. Walking the State College streets brought back hippie memories which I shared with my daughters. They laugh now, but just wait! My grown son, an atomic physicist, lives in the Midwest, with his equally brilliant physicist wife. Penn State has been more than a degree-granting institution to me over the years. PSU has been something to be proud of, something that helps me stand out among my Midwestern peers. The Lion, Old Main, The Creamery, The Wall are all part of my personality. And yours. We Are. Penn State!
